Parbati Gurung (Nepali: पार्वती गुरुङ) (born 17 September 1995 in Lamjung, Nepal) is a Nepalese taekwondo player, who competed in the Kyorugi and Poomsae category. She won a gold and a bronze medal in poomsae category at the 2019 South Asian Game which was held in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Gurung has started playing taekwondo at the age of nine in Chitwan Taekwondo Dojang under coached by Mr. Roshan Khan. Since then, she had obtained a total of fourteen national championship titles, and won medals (eleven golds, two silver and a bronzes) and total of fourteen international championship titles won eight medals (five gold and three silver). Then since 2017 she has associated with Nepal Police Club and got the opportunity to learn from Korean Instructor Master Yeongdal Kwon.
She has got amazing travel history in her early age within the native land and in other several countries like Indonesia, South Korea, Philippines, Italy, UAE, Qatar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Bhutan and India for training, participation. A woman with flawless quality Ms. Gurung has got many professional achievements in national and international arena as a player. Ms. Parbati Gurung has bright future in sports industry.
